Thanksgiving Dinner Series
So today I am going to be wrapping up my Thanksgiving Dinner Series. I wanted to end with some great hosting tips, but the “blog Gods” must not be shining down upon me. We woke up this morning with a terrible ear infection/fever with Miss Nora, so this post just won’t happen (not that anyone was holding their breath for it, haha!) This has been so fun for me to share with you, my blogger friends, and it has been fun to get your emails, Facebook messages and texts with questions and suggestions. So thanks for participating, friends!
Thanksgiving is really such a joyful holiday. Family and friends gather at our loved one’s home, crowd around the dinning room table table, eat good food share about what they are thankful for. It’s a time for us to reflect on the past year and count the many blessings that God has showered upon us, giving Him thanks that we are here to celebrate another holiday season.
With that being said, I hope and pray that EACH of you has a wonderful day and weekend celebrating what God has blessed YOU with this past year. I pray that we will each be able to look back over the past year and be able to clearly see God’s faithfulness in our lives and look to the future with great hope and excitement for what He has planned for you.
We will be celebrating with my family as well as my Mom’s extended family tomorrow here at our house. It will be a great time for all of us to get together. This year, however, I am especially excited to announce the birth of my first niece, Dakota Marie Clark, born to Eric’s sister, Elisa, and her hubby Patrick in Colorado. We are thrilled to welcome her into our family and over the moon excited for Lis and Patrick as they are first time parents. They have no idea the amount of love and joy that they are getting themselves into. No idea at all 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving, friends!
