13 Week Bumpdate

in Uncategorized on March 23, 2014

How Far Along? 13 weeks, last week of my first trimester! (Yes, I’m a terrible blogger and skipped week 12 all together. I’m lame, I know)

Size of Baby: A Peach

Gender: We get to find out May 14th and I’m already anxiously counting down the days.

Weight Gain: Finally back at my starting weight of 134 lbs.

Maternity Clothes: Yes! Loving my maternity jeans and got to wear a few cute tops this week.

Movement: HOLY SMOKES, yes! I was laying down on the couch one night after eating a peanut butter egg and all of the sudden I felt that swirling feeling below my belly button. It was so awesome! I looked back at my last pregnancy journal with Nora and I first felt her at 15 weeks, so I was excited to see that I had felt this baby a couple of weeks sooner.

Symptoms: Nausea continues to not bother me as much this week. Still taking my Protonix and Zofran, but I haven’t thrown up in 2 weeks and it’s glorious. I’m not sure if it was the fact that I worked this week or if I’m just stretching more, but my back and neck have really been bothering me this week. Hoping to get in for a massage or chiropractor in the next week or two. Other than that, I have been feeling really great, and I’m so grateful!

Cravings: Reece’s Peanut Butter Eggs. All day everyday!

Sleep: Awesome! Still lots of Harry Potter dreams 🙂

Best Moment of the Week: I got to spend 5 days at home this past week and work for 3 of those days at the clinic. It was great spending time with my parents and brother, I know Nora was feeling spoiled! And it felt like riding a bike being back at the clinic again. I love that place.

Looking Forward To: Hopefully some warmer weather. The past few days have been super cold with some snow, and Nora and I just want to get outside and play!

That wee "peach" is making you look so darling! Glad to hear you are feeling Ok….and when not that you can grab some Reece's Peanut Butter Eggs. Stock up! How fun that you and Nora could spend some time with your family and also that you could spend time working. Sounds like you just love it there…and how nice that you can work there on occasion. I'm sure they enjoy having you too….and I can imagine your parents and brother had the best of times with Nora. Hugs!
