IT’S FRIDAY!!! This has probably been one of the longest weeks ever. We had the photographer come in yesterday and take pictures of our beautiful home that we are putting on the market next week. As you can imagine, we had to have the house look as perfect and clean as possible…talk about a challenge with an active little 1 year old. That being said, let’s get started with my favorite things this week, starting with our lovely little home 🙂
1. House Pictures
We got a total of 29 pictures of our house and this is my favorite one of the outside. I’m so glad that even after we sell, we will have some gorgeous pics to remember our precious little starter house.
2. Open Gym
I took Nora to “Mommy and Me Open Gym” this morning and she LOVED it! She enjoyed being around and playing with all the other kids. Of course, the thing she loved the most was the swing, go figure 🙂 I was especially pleased to see that she could hang from the monkey bars for a whole 10 seconds by herself. Maybe we have a little gymnast in the making?

I started a new series on my blog this week called the Thanksgiving Dinner Series. I wanted to take some time to share some of our family favorite recipes for this special holiday as well as some hosting tips to make your big gathering extra special. 4. Christmas being right around the corner!
Tonight I plan on getting all of my Christmas decorations out and organized so that I am all ready to go next Friday. Yep, that’s right, November 1st is the day I get everything up and Christmasie at our house. I get quite a lot of grief for this, but Christmas is my favorite season, and I want to be able to enjoy all of my precious pretties for more than just a few weeks. I can’t wait to get some of my favorite things up in our home!

5. Seeing college friends next week
Holy buckets. Two of my very best college friends are driving through KC next Friday and I can’t WAIT to see them! Since the last time we have seen each other, each of us have given birth to our precious babies, and they all get to meet! Angela and Tara will be getting in late Friday night and I have the feeling it’s going to be quite the reunion.
So there’s my five things I’m lovin’ on this week. Wish me luck as I dive into my Christmas décor tonight 🙂 Ho! Ho! Ho!, Deck the halls and Away in a Manger, friends. It’s going to be glorious!
