We have had a house full of colds this week, yuck! Whenever we go on vacation, one of us usually picks up something and then shares it with the rest of the family. So even though we’ve all been a little off this week, we still had loads of fun!
1. Movie Night
The girls are finally old enough that we had an “official” family movie night. We rented Inside Out (super cute, by the way), pulled out the sleeping bags and our favorite sippy cups and had a blast.
2. Home Preschool at the Farm
Last week, I started home preschool for Nora. I was so nervous, but she is totally rocking it! She’s been loving to write letters, learning simple math, singing and of course doing crafts. I’m so excited to continue to watch her learn and grow.
And the next time you see her, ask her to say The Pledge of Allegience. It might be the cutest thing you ever hear.
“C is for Crown!”
3. Strawberry Shortcake Scones
Oh my goodness, have you all ever made these? I made a couple batches of them yesterday for mom’s group and Bible study and they were so yummy and simple. Head over to Her View From Home and check out the recipe.
4. Little Gymnast
Nora started gymnastics lessons earlier this month and what an experience. We sat on the sidelines the first two weeks, just too afraid to join the class. But after a lot of prayer and self talk, Nora got the courage and marched out onto the mats.
And she LOVES it!
It’s amazing to watch your child conquer their fears, isn’t it?
5. Gold and Glittery Leggings
I got these new leggings from ZuZu’s while I was in KC last week and I am in LOVE. I wasn’t feeling doing housework this week, but I put these bad boys on and zipped through my cleaning. A little glitter makes everything better 🙂
Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

Arden has been wanting to watch Inside Out–we may need to rent it soon! And Preschool on the Farm…loooove it!

Ooohh… get it! There were few concepts that were over Nora's head, but she mainly understood it. Arden will love it! And keep your fingers crossed for preschool…I have zero idea what I'm doing, ha! We need to do lunch next time I'm in town!
