How Far Along? 16 weeks
Size of Baby: An avocado
Gender: Don’t know yet, but I’m starting to get antsy waiting!
Weight Gain: Up 1 more pound. Up 3 pounds total
Maternity Clothes: Yep, lots of them! I got all of my summer dresses and shorts out today from the storage tubs. Excited to wear them all!
Movement: Lots more this week! I still have to be waiting and feeling for it, but it’s definitely getting more consistent.
Symptoms: Zofran and Protonix continue to be my BFF’s for my nausea. My chest has, uh….exploded this week. I think that’s the most delicate way to say it. Eric is not complaining 😉 Feeling more fatigued this week as we played outside almost all day, every day. My back and neck continued to bug me this past week so I started going to a new chiropractor in town. I am feeling better already and hope to continue monthly appointments through the rest of my pregnancy.
Sleep: Like a rock. Especially now that we have a fan in our room.
Cravings: Can you say, “Easter candy?”
Best Moment of the Week: Hearing the heartbeat again was pretty wonderful. Also the fact that Nora and I got to play outside all week. We had such a wonderful time! Probably the best part of the week was that we got to go fish at our pond a couple of times. In honor of the great time we had, I chose my weekly bump picture of me and my first fish of the season.
Looking Forward To: It’s the week of Easter! We have lots of things going on this week, including Eric’s sisters and my family coming up for the holiday weekend. I’m so excited to see everyone and get some cooking and baking done this week before they get here. I’m slightly dreading finding something to wear for Easter Sunday, but I’m super excited for Nora to wear her new little dress 🙂
