Andersyn Joy – 9 Months

in Uncategorized on June 24, 2015

Oh, Andersyn Joy…. you are 9 months old. WHERE is the time going?

Weight: 21 pounds

Length: 26 inches

Clothing: 12-18 month, size 4 diapers, refuses to wear shoes 🙂

Here are some things you liked this month:

Being outside whenever possible, playing with your big sister and pulling her hair, eating ALL kinds of food, nursing, starting to take longer naps, cruising around the house on furniture and your stool, discovering so many fun new things, swinging, trying to drink water out of the dishwasher (sick), standing up and bouncing, anything that includes water, especially the pool, meeting your cousin Dakota. Andi LOVES to talk! Listening to her babble is just about the cutest thing and she “hoots” when she gets super excited, usually when Nora goes into her room to wake her up from her nap. It’s my favorite part of the day 🙂

Here are some things you didn’t like this month:

Traveling in your car seat (you scream now whenever you see it coming your way), having to wait to be fed, not being held by Mommy (we HAVE GOT to work on this), when Nora sits on you or hugs you too hard (I promise, she just loves you so much), when we say, “No,” to you about getting into things or take things away from you.
Andersyn has started to actually have a better schedule this month:

Wakes at 7AM, eats, has a one hour nap at 9:30/10AM, up until 1PM when she naps again for 2 hours, up until about 530PM when she takes a 30 minute cat nap, up until bedtime at 830, down for the night until 5AM when she wakes/nurses and goes back to sleep.

Of  course, this amazing schedule got totally thrown off when she got Rosella and then went on vacation. Poor baby with her high fevers for about 3 day. The 2 day rash was actually the best part of her sickness. She was still clingy, but her fevers were gone, which meant she was much happier!

A few firsts:

Going to the pool, getting TWO bottom teeth, too many new foods to count, going on her first long vacation to Branson/Table Rock with my family last week, first boat ride and swim in the lake, learning how to bounce on the trampoline, standing by herself with out holding onto anything, and she finally has enough hair to have PONY TAILS!!!

Our sweet little Andi Joy continues to keep true to her name: a total JOY! Although the past week or two have been rough, she is really coming into her own and is quite the little person. She lets you know what she wants and when she wants it and is a total mama’s girl. Watching her relationship with Nora is a complete riot and they are really starting to love to play alongside of each other and figure each other out. Andersyn is a flirt with her Daddy and loves snuggling with him in the mornings before Nora gets up for her Daddy snuggles.

We love you so much Andersyn Joy, my sweet little A.J. And I just love being your Mommy!
