We celebrated Christmas with Eric’s family for a week over the New Year’s holiday. Everyone flew in from all over the place and we had a wonderful time at home all together!

That face….
The theme of Christmas this year was forts. Nora wanted to build forts 24/7 and lucky for her, the aunties and uncles obliged.
It snowed while everyone was here, so Lou, Ellie, Eric and I took Nora out for her first REAL sledding experience. To say she had fun was an understatement. And it’s not sledding on the farm until you break out the 4-wheeler, is it?
That beard. That man. Yum.
While the boys were at the Nebraska basketball game, us girls just hung out at home on New Year’s Eve. But of course we had to break out some party hats!
New Year’s Day was our Christmas morning. We had such a fun Christmas! Nora’s big gift from us was her new play table with benches and craft supplies. She loves it!
One night the adult kids got to go out on the town with no kids. It was so fun! We went to a local Thai restraint and ate entirely too much.
The morning that everyone left to go home, we had the Yeakley side of the family over to make donuts and have brunch. Ellie and Grandma Joyce were the perfect donut fryers!
Nora and Dakota are really starting to actually play with and alongside each other. It’s so fun watching them interact!
Sisters saying good bye until we can all be together again this summer 🙁
What a wonderful Christmas we had together!!
