Hello friends! It’s the end of the work week (which, by the way, means NOTHING here on the farm). But nonetheless, it’s still good to celebrate the closing of another week. Today I’m linking up with Karli from September F A R M (can I just say that I LOVE her!) to talk about 5 wonderful things I’m thinking about this week. Here we go!
1. Milford Fun Days
We had the ever-so-popular Milford Fun Days this past weekend. And it was extra special this year because we were celebrating Milford’s 150th birthday! The weekend was complete with a parade, train rides, fair food and tractor pulls. We had a great time!
2. My Cadillac
OK, so it’s not really a Cadillac, but to this Mommy it sure feels like it! We have purchased virtually nothing new for this little baby (who is due in like 5 weeks!), except for a new stroller. Our new Graco Grow With Me stroller came in the mail this past week and I am over the moon excited about it! It has 12 different ways to position the girls, including the option to stand on the back. It might not seem like something to be excited about, but I am thrilled!
3. Time with Jack
Nora has been enjoying time riding, feeding and taking care of Jack, my BFF Kati’s horse. And of course, she loves spending time with Kati. It just keeps getting me more and more excited for her birthday party in a few weeks (oh my gosh, I’m going to have a TWO year old!! Say what?!?)
4. Visit from Hammy and Pop Pop
My parents came in for a weekend visit Sunday and Monday and we had such a nice time with them! Nora, of course, got spoiled and skipped both of her naps over the weekend because she was just having so much fun. I mean, how could you not have fun when your Pop Pop wears bunny ears while reading you Bible stories?
5. This. Just this.
Please tell me I’m not alone? I feel like I have the exact same crazy-eyed look going on, fist pumping with my pumpkin scepter and all. I’m so ready for fall!
Well there ya have it folks. I would like to ask a favor while your visiting my little corner of the internet. My friend, Addie, from Hesston is just the sweetest thing. I had the privilege of being in Bible study with her for two of my three years there and have nothing but love and deep respect for her and her heart ever since. Her little 5 year old, Sophia, was diagnosed with leukemia (ALL) yesterday and starts her chemo today. Will you join with me in praying for her and her family? I know I would sure appreciate it, and so would sweet little Fia. Thanks friends!

Sending so many prayers for your friend and her sweet little girl!! Breaks my heart when children have to go through that sort of thing 🙁
Milford Fun Days reminds me a lot of our 4th of July celebration in Iowa…SO much fun! And don't even get me started on the pony appearance at her bday party. Can we come?!? 😉
