How Many Weeks Along? 35 weeks
Size of Baby: a large cantoloupe. My doctor is estimating that she is a bit small and guesses she will be under 7 pounds when she is born. But of course that’s just a guess!
Gender: A baby sister for a very excited big sister 🙂
Weight Gain: Up about 2 more pounds the past two weeks, up 19 pounds total. The whole “pound a week” thing is ringing true to my body at this point. I gained 22 pounds with Nora, but my goal this pregnancy is 25 pounds and to still weigh less than my husband (haha!) so I seem to be on track!
Movement: Have actually felt a decrease in movement this week. Doctor said it’s normal as she is running out of room, and boy can I tell! She continues to be head down, and her head was too low to accurately measure my fundal height. Go figure 🙂
Maternity Clothes: Yes. Still loving my running shorts and tank tops. It’s been super hot and humid here this week, and I wish that I could just walk around naked lol.
Symptoms: My back pain is improving with chiropractic care and I feel like I can do a bit more because of it! Yay!! Feeling more tired and have been enjoying a few naps this week. I have unbelievable “low” pressure and have continued to have contractions and “zingers” down my legs from how low she is.
Sleep: Sleeping great thanks to my beloved Unisom! Just getting up to use the bathroom once a night.
Cravings: Anything cold… Fruit, ice cream, ice chips… You name it, I want it.
Best Moment of the Week: We had such a fun time at Milford Fun Days last weekend and when my parents visited. I also spent a majority of the day outside yesterday playing with Nora and I felt really well all day. It felt nice to feel a bit normal again 🙂
Looking Forward To: I always look forward to Sundays, the day of the week that Eric doesn’t have to work 🙂 He has been pretty busy this week so I am looking forward to spending some time with him tomorrow.
