It’s time for another installment of recapping the week our family had. Let’s start with the 4th of July, shall we?
1. 4th of July Celebrations
Between our friends “3rd of July” party, my parents coming into town and going to the holiday celebrations in Seward, we had a FULL weekend of fun!
We were so busy all weekend that poor Nora slept right through the fireworks and Andersyn…well, she was confused, but didn’t cry, so I’m counting that as a win 🙂
2. My hair and my hair dresser
Not only was my hair in MAJOR need of a cut and color, but my bestie is my hair dresser, which meant that I got to have 2.5 gloriously uninterrupted hours sipping on vanilla iced coffees with Allison on Tuesday. And I got to give my post partum pregnancy hair some major TLC. In Allie’s words, “Your hair is getting thinner, isn’t it?” PP hair loss is a aweful thing, friends. The struggle is real, as are the gobbs of hair found all over my house. Moving on….
3. These Ah-dorable shirts
Old Navy had huge 75% off sales this week and these “Mom Loves Me” tees were 2 for $8. My girls look fabulous in gold and navy, so it was a win-win for everyone.
4. Sick Babies
Sickness has struck our girls again this week. Lots of cuddles, Tylenol, Ibuprofen and cartoons for us. If you could pray for my sweet girls, I would so appreciate it, they are miserable.
5. KITCHEN REVEAL!
I will be doing a detailed kitchen reveal later this next week, going piece by piece and cabinet by cabinet to show you what Eric and I have worked so hard for – my favorite place in our new house! I can’t wait to show it to you!
Tonight, Eric and I are bringing a meal to some friends who need a little extra love this week. With the weekend coming up, maybe you have some extra time on your hands, too. Doing something simple and tangible is a great way to extend love and hope to those who need it most. Take a few minutes and be that love and hope this weekend. I promise you won’t regret it!

Your babies look so pitiful! Hope they are starting to feel better! I wish I was close so I could bring YOU a meal!
