23 Week Bumpdate

How Many Weeks Along? 23 weeks

Size of Baby: An Papaya

Gender: Little baby girl

Weight Gain: Up about a half a pound, so up 8 1/2 pounds total.

Movement: Lots and lots! This week, she has quite literally kicked my butt numerous times. It even woke me up last night she was kicking so hard!

Maternity Clothes: Got my tank tops out this week and it’s been fabulous! Wearing lots of workout shorts, t-shirts and bikinis this week since we have been outside in the pool so much.

Cravings: For some odd reason, Applebee’s chicken fingers sounded good this week. I didn’t get them, but I couldn’t stop thinking about them for some odd reason! Craved lots of watermelon this week and ate a lot of it 🙂

Symptoms: Lots of back and general round ligament pain. Have found myself more tired than usual, but I think part of that is that Nora and I spend most of our days outside in the sun. Continuing to be very emotional, but I feel like after a long campfire talk and regrouping with Eric that I have my feet underneath me a little more again. Having LOTS of Braxton hicks again this week, especially at the end of the day. Continuing to chug water to prevent them.

Sleep: Sleep has been ok this week. Nothing to write home about.

Best Moment of the Week: I went to Hobby Lobby Friday for the first time since we have moved. I don’t know whether to be completely overjoyed or totally embarrassed by that. They had the beginnings of their fall décor out and I quite literally almost peed my pants I was so excited.

Looking Forward To: I always love getting my hair done, and Allison is doing it after I work at VBS on Tuesday. So excited!! I also got lots of fun crafty stuff to do with Nora at Hobby Lobby, as well as some things for this precious little baby’s room, and I can’t wait to get started on them! I haven’t done too many crafts since we’ve moved, and it will feel so good to get my hands sticky and glittery again 🙂

Thanks friend! And aren't paper towel tubes a total lifesaver while making dinner? We love them around here!
